Find the NSW 2000
What is FIND the NSW 2000?
There are 2000 women in NSW, aged 50-74, that may have breast cancer and not know it. This is because over 400,000 women between the ages of 50 and 74 have not had their recommended screening mammogram in the past 2 years.
FIND the NSW 2000 is a mission to find these women as detecting their breast cancers early will drastically improve their chances of survival. The campaign is fronted by our celebrity ambassador, Jean Kittson, who is a comedian, writer and performer. We’ll be spreading the word through Jean and other ambassadors, local events, and our Facebook and Twitter accounts throughout April 2016.
Why should I get a mammogram?
Screening mammograms are the most effective way to find breast cancer before it can be seen or felt, so we are urging women to have their free screening mammogram with BreastScreen NSW. Finding breast cancer in the early stages will give you the best chance of surviving it, plus treatment is less invasive for breast cancers found early.
How do I book my mammogram?
