Barbara's story

Meet Barbara. When she turned 50, Barbara promised herself she’d make her health a priority. So when her invitation from BreastScreen NSW arrived, she booked her first breast screen. 

Now, screening is part of her regular health routine. “Getting the all-clear was a big relief,” she says, and she was surprised at how quick and easy the process was. Watch Barbara share her story and why breast screening is so important to her.
