BreastScreen NSW offers a range of professional development opportunities, to enhance skills and foster a high quality breast cancer workforce.
Breast Imaging Clinical Education Program
The Breast Imaging Clinical Education Program (BICEP) is a continuing professional development initiative of BreastScreen NSW, developed in collaboration with the University of Newcastle and the University of Sydney.
BICEP is intended for diagnostic radiographers performing breast imaging at BreastScreen NSW Screening and Assessment Services, private practices, public and private hospitals.
BICEP has been accredited by the Australian Society of Medical Imaging and Radiation Therapy (ASMIRT)

Cancer Institute NSW Breast Imaging Advanced Trainee Grants Program
The Cancer Institute NSW provides an annual Advanced Trainee Grants Program as a key radiologist workforce strategy. The Program aims to support senior registrars in their final year of training or newly qualified radiologists to undertake further training and research in breast imaging.
